Did you know Isagenix is now open in Seoul? That’s right — we launched our newest office in South Korea on 8 October 2018. We are so excited about this new business opportunity and hope you are, too!

Located in the elite Gangnam District, our sleek, modern office is led by Steve Kim,  who is the General Manager of our South Korea office and oversees a growing team of more than 17 dedicated members. Steve’s team is committed to helping make South Korea one of the most successful, flourishing markets for Isagenix to date.

Seoul may be new to Isagenix, but  it is no stranger to our industry. South Korea is the third largest direct selling market in the world and will be our 18th market launch for us as a global company! Weight Loss for Good: Our 4 Best Strategies

According to researchers, only about one in every six Americans who have ever been overweight loses weight and maintains that loss. And while that number is larger than most weight loss clinical trials report, most Americans are still unable to lose weight and keep it off.

Simply put, the only thing harder than losing weight is keeping it off. We’ve all heard it before, but here are a few things you maybe haven’t!

Say Goodbye to the Pounds for Good

We’ve gathered some of our best tips and strategies for keeping up with your healthy lifestyle.

  • Develop (and keep) healthy habits. Creating healthy habits is one of the first steps to success in any weight loss journey, whether you choose to make better nutritional choices or exercise more each week. The key to creating habits that stick is to start small and not overwhelm yourself by trying to change everything at once. Start with adding a walk to your week, not daily five-mile runs, a new diet plan, and nightly meditation. Less is more when you’re trying to stay with it.
  • Set firm goals, and keep setting new ones. When you first started your journey, you may have set a goal to lose a few more pounds or gain lean muscle, but once you’ve done it (congrats, by the way!), how do you stay motivated to maintain your results?

Continue to set goals that hold you accountable and give you something to work for. Having something new to accomplish is much more motivating than simply staying the same. And remember, there’s a lot more to celebrate than the number on the scale. For your next goal, try training for a race, climbing an epic mountain, or completing the IsaBody Challenge®.

  • Create the meal plan you love. An Isagenix System with Shake and Cleanse Days is a great way to go, but try not to be too strict on yourself and allow for modifications. While a normal 30-Day System calls for approximately 1,200 daily calories, you may want to up this to about 1,500 calories (depending on your size, gender, etc.) when you’re in maintenance mode.

Use your 500-600-calorie meal as a time to get creative with fun and healthy recipes, or shake up your shake game with new flavours every single day. When you never give yourself a chance to get bored with what you’re eating, you’ll be more likely to stay on track!

  • Make exercise exciting! Let’s face it, the elliptical machine gets boring. So, while it’s important to maintain healthy habits (see tip No. 1), it’s just as important to create a little variety in your day-to-day routine. Exercise with friends, go to a new gym, or make a point to never do the same workout twice in one week – trust us, there are so many options, and one of them is Yoga!

How to Hack the Gig Economy

Always be grinding.

It’s the modern-day equivalent of the phrase “always be closing,” and in today’s booming gig economy, with many turning to side hustles to supplement their main source of income, it certainly seems to fit.

While turning your car into a taxi on nights and weekends or freelancing as a handyman doing odd jobs may seem like a great way to earn extra money, I’m going to let you in on a little secret about side hustles and gigs that most people don’t know:

It doesn’t have to feel like a grind.

Most people decide to take on extra work outside of their regular full-time jobs because they want to add value to their lives in some way. But what often ends up happening is that the “add value” part of the equation comes at the expense of the “life” part.

Don’t believe me? Ask the guy who was out at 2 a.m. on a Saturday driving people home from their weekend shenanigans. I’m sure that guy had a fantastic time, and there was nothing else he would have rather been doing, like, I don’t know, sleeping.

So, how can you have a successful part-time gig without feeling like you’re giving up too much of the good stuff in life?

I’m glad you asked!

Keep it fun. The most important investment you’ll make for any gig is your time. And when you already have a full-time job that’s taking up 40 or more hours each week, the time you have left over is worth that much more. After all, this is the time you would ordinarily spend hanging out with friends, doing fun things with your family, or binge watching your favorite shows. Ideally, a gig you have on the side should be something you enjoy.

Keep it flexible. If your side hustle requires you to keep a rigid schedule or you don’t get to choose what kind of work you do or don’t do, you can quickly start to feel like you’re clocking in to a second job. Except you started down this path because you specifically didn’t want a second a job – you not only wanted to supplement your income, but you also wanted to be in control of how and when you did it.

Keep it smart. What if there was a way to take the things you already do – going to the gym, spending time with friends, or even running errands around town – and turn them into business opportunities? Well, that would certainly let you work smarter and not harder. The best kind of side hustle is one that you can incorporate seamlessly into your schedule.

The good news is that there are gigs out there that can check these boxes. While we aren’t going to tell you that becoming an Isagenix Associate is the perfect solution to all your gigging woes, we will say that, with planning, skill, and some work, it can be fun, flexible, and smart.

At its core, building an Isagenix business is about connecting with people, building relationships, and empowering others to make positive changes in their lives. You get to decide how and when you build your business, and with planning, you can be smart about it, too.

One of the great things about building an Isagenix business is that your effort can be scaled to fit your needs – whether you’re aiming to save a little extra money for a fun trip or you want to start earning enough money to pay a few bills. Opportunity Awaits in South Korea!

This Fall, Isagenix is heading to South Korea! As one of the top 15 economies and top 3 direct selling markets in the world, South Korea presents an exciting opportunity as we look to continue impacting world health and becoming the largest health and wellness company in the world.

The South Korean market will be headquartered in Seoul and led by Steve Kim, who recently came on board as South Korea General Manager. Steve’s vast experience in the direct selling industry will be a tremendous asset to us as we enter this exciting market. Steve served as vice president of Asia for a top direct selling company where he led that company’s successful launch in South Korea, beginning in 2012. Under his leadership, the company achieved over $400 million in cumulative sales in its first five years of operation and has been recognized among the top 10 direct selling companies in Korea for the past three years.

There are still quite a few steps left for us to complete before we can fully launch in South Korea, and as we move closer to the launch, we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop. For now, please be aware that the laws and regulations in South Korea are a bit different from our existing markets, and any violations of those laws and regulations could unnecessarily jeopardize our ability to open for business. So, it’s important to keep in mind the following when you are sharing that Isagenix is coming to South Korea:

  • Only share marketing materials created specifically for the South Korean market.
  • Do not sell or distribute products in the market prior to the official launch.
  • Country changes are strictly prohibited, so please do not enroll anyone through existing markets.
  • Some bonuses and promotions will differ from the existing markets and it is important that you only share the South Korean compensation plan and bonuses in this market to avoid confusion.

We’re Going Places This Spring and Summer

2017 was a remarkable year for Isagenix, there’s no doubt about that.

From launching in the United Kingdom in the spring to riding that wave of momentum into Ireland and the Netherlands in the fall, we’ve established a firm foundation in Europe to set the stage for a record-breaking 2018.

So, what’s next? Belgium and Spain, that’s what!

We will be launching in Belgium first, with an anticipated launch date of April 23, followed by Spain (with an anticipated launch in June 2018). Like our other European markets, Belgium and Spain will both be managed from our European headquarters in London and will feature the same great products and promotions, in addition to our Isagenix Team Compensation Plan. Goodbye 2017, Hello 2018!


*Warning, spoilers ahead! Do not read if you don’t want to know about what will come in 2018!*

With a blink of an eye, there are only a couple of days left in 2017. This year marks my first full year with Isagenix and I am thankful for the support and commitment of all our Associates towards Isagenix. As I reflect upon the year, a few successes come quickly – our first and very successful MYSG Celebration, bringing our IsaRally winners to the Global Celebration in Las Vegas and of course, having David T.S. Wood conduct the first University in Action in Asia.

Looking to 2018, I hope we can build on the successes and use 2017 as a springboard to greater successes. As such, I plan to introduce some changes to the activities that we will have in Isagenix. Firstly, I would like to start a new exercise day called FitBlitz every Tuesday. We will have different classes every FitBlitz so you can invite your friends to come and get their groove on as we change our life with Isagenix.

With this, we will be moving our Wednesday events to Thursdays. Come on Thursdays to join in our Experience Isagenix Meetings, Business Trainings and other activities!

In 2018, we will also be having a new event called the Isagenix Welcome Party. During the party, we want to celebrate your new friends who have joined Isagenix to welcome the new and better version of themselves. We also want to celebrate our Associates who have reached a new milestone with Isagenix!

Also in January, Isagenix Malaysia and Singapore will be launching our own Loyalty Program. Get wonderful gifts just by enjoying the Isagenix Solution and the benefits consistently!

I have more things planned for 2018 that I cannot reveal at this moment, but I am beside myself in excitement at the opportunities that 2018 will bring to Isagenix.
